Overture Japan 9yen minimums

Checking the overture bidding tool, I see some terms can now be gotten for a 9yen minimum. More popular words still start at 35yen.

This must be to compete with Google Adwords, that will show up on Yahoo JP for only bottom price.

I did raise this with Overture a while back and it appears they have finally done something about it.

After having a chance to look into this further there is a reasonable range of terms that you can bid the lower amounts for.

This could be really good news for search engine marketing in Japan.

They seem to have extended this further to more words that only a few days ago had a minimum of 35 yen.

BIG PROBLEM
They have extended the search terms on their bidding system, but they have billed me at the 35 yen price.

I have sent them off a complaint this morning. Really does not give me confidence in their systems. (Not that I had much to start with).
