Where to link your ICP license

If you have a site hosted in China or provided in China via a CDN, you need an ICP license. Normally you display your ICP license number in the footer of your site, at least on the home page of the site. It had been custom to link that licence number to the ICP site of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the Chinese government which used to be at www.miibeian.gov.cn

At some point the ICP site moved to www.beian.miit.gov.cn and the old URL was never forwarded. It just went dead. I noticed this recently when checking one of my sites in China.

Does anyone know when this change occurred?

Not authoritative in any way, but the Wikipedia link to the site changed on June 20, 2019.

That's a good indication actually. I had been trying to search through Chinese language sites looking for the info, and my Chinese is not good. I figured there was a big announcement, but I missed it.
