Has anyone know a service which will allow me to accept credit card payments in Japanese.
I am looking for cheap solution similar to 2chekout, paysystems or paypal but in Japanese and preferably by japanese company.

You could design an interface and process it with your current credit card merchant account.

The reason why is because Japanese merchant companies don't do that in the moment for clients outside Japan but I believe if you are a US company you could talk to surepay.com and then just design your Japanese interface.

I am looking for the same or similar thing.

We still cannot obtain a merchant account from our bank.

I have yet to find a merchant provider who can process Yen and Australian dollars.

I have given up and gone with www.worldpay.com

I would not say they are a cheap solution, but they do allow us to bill in three currencies (USD, Yen & AUD). They also have the option for mail order entry (this is an extra).

They were up front with their fees and you can talk to them on the phone.

I found most of the others were very limited or seemed to be just as expensive or (more so) once you factored in the fees.

One month on. What do you think of WorldPay?

The nightmare continues. WorldPay seem to be presenting almost as many problems as some of the Australian banks.

So far the account is not going, they have asked many detailed questions about the products and services we sell. They want to charge additional fees for each web site shop we wish to use it with (something I don't remember seeing in the application).

Thus so far I would not recommend them.
