Baidu Launches English Website for Developers

The English site, which at present is limited to introductory materials about Baidu's developer services, will eventually make it possible for developers who do not read Chinese to build apps for the Chinese market, tapping into Baidu's strengths in search, LBS and maps, cloud storage, and numerous self-developed technologies.

There isn't much documentation yet. Apparently that will be coming in a few months.

Oh, this is really interesting news, thanks Bill. I'll be watching that space as the site develops.

Great, once they have their own set of Webmaster tools I'll be able to integrate them along with Bing, Google and Yandex. It will be nice if they decide to compete in North America, competition is always a welcomed thing.
