Do you have any idea how popular infooseek is?

Infoseek has always been a lower tier engine for me. Google, Yahoo, MSN & Goo always outrank Infoseek for me...then it depends if I count the various Google supported portals separately as to whether Infoseek will 5~6 or a lot lower down the list.

Don't forget this thread: Infoseek to absorb Lycos Japan [webmasterworld.com]. That consolidation may help improve things. However, Infoseek has been powering Lycos for a while and that traffic hasn't impressed me much. I got much better traffic from Lycos when they were powered by WiseNut.
