Growth in consumers' use of social media is changing the media landscape across the world. In Asia Pacific it has become increasingly important for advertisers to understand what is driving this change and leverage its growing popularity.

Here's an interesting deeper dive into the Nielsen data:

The data presented by Nielsen declare that Asia-Pac consumers access social media more from work than home, but they separate bedroom access from kitchen access in their numbers. When you combine bedroom (31%) and kitchen access (1%), you find that home and work access are equivalent.

Interesting reports. Thanks for posting those.

I'm surprised that the figure for accessing these services isn't bigger for the commuting portion of the populace. That makes up a big percentage in Japan, and I know that everyone here is glued to their mobile for the duration of their ride for the most part.
