Yahoo Japan algo update?

Hi all, first post from a long-time lurker...

Would anyone here be able to confirm or deny a Yahoo Japan algo update? I noticed last night that some of the clients I'm working with have seen a large loss in 1st page positions over the past week for no apparent reason.

Any comments would be most appreciated!

Yes. Yahoo Japan updated their algorithm just recently. Here is an official announcement.

This seems to be rolled out only in Japan.

I suspect Yahoo (US) updated yesterday afternoon or earlier today.
