I`ve checked Yahoo Japan and could not find a single Adword results, only Overture show up. Google Adwords home page is still telling that adwords are running at Yahoo Japan (partner site).
Could anyone confirm that.

Nope, I still see AdWords on Yahoo Japan. The Sponsored Site portion of the SERP seems to switch between showing all Overture or all Google results.

I can see our Adwords running.

Does it show up any differently in the Adwords reports if the clicks came from Google or Yahoo?

Does it only alternate if there are Adwords and Overture?
That is, if there is only one ad in Adwords and none in Overture for that keyword, is it only going to show the Adwords ad?

You could add a tracking code to the end of your listing like this:

http://mydomain.com/products/[blue]?source=AdWords[/blue]

Then you could track it from your logs. AdWords reports don't seem to break down partner clicks.

Thank you Bill. I haven`t seen any traffic from yahoo this month so I checked it and I couldn`t see any adwords displayed. On some searches, although there were some adwords on google, no sponsored results were displayed on yahoo. I suspect it can have something to do with the minimum bid. Maybe if the price for adword is too low it doesn`t show up in yahoo.

whats_up_skip - the Adword report shows all impresions, clicks and CTR, without distinguishing if they come from Google or partner sites.

I get the feeling you are right about that. I tried refreshing the same query on Yahoo all day and the results didn't switch. There must be a formula Yahoo Japan devised to get the most possible money for each Sponsored Site link click. If we knew the bid minimum it would be pretty simple to ensure someone a top ranking spot on Yahoo Japan. Anybody want to have some fun by jacking up their bids to test the minimum for us? ;)
