Mature content with reference to India

I understand that hosting mature content can have legal implications in India - Indian law is not as liberal as US or north European law.

First, what makes a webmaster liable under Indian law?

Second, what is the exact(or not so exact) position of Indian law with reference to such webmasters if they deal with mature content?

Well, we do deal with regional topics here so this is probably as good a place as any to post this. However, regardless of where you post this the answer will be the same. You aren't going to get good legal advice on a forum. You really need to retain a lawyer if you want specialized advice like this.
