Hi,

I'm getting very poor connectivity from London UK to Hong Kong and Beijing, but otherwise seem to be mainly OK (eg connectivity is holding up from London to SG and AU).

How is it looking from inside AsiaPac to the EU and US for example?

Rgds

From Japan I haven't experienced much difficulty at all. I'm still able to reach my sites in Singapore and Taiwan, although intermittently. People in China have been tough to reach via e-mail and IM though.

No probs here in Australia accessing the rest of the world, but Asia feels a bit like molasses.

Hit and miss in SE Asia. Some sites come up fine, others not at all.

It's too bad I could not download my emails from my US server since Dec 27. Report said they need 3 weeks to solve this issue. Can someone provide me a method to download my emails?

Even worse is: we lost ten thousand domains with com extension because we couldn’t access the overseas register server to renew the fees.

Hi,

The domain loss is indeed unfortunate, but it isn't very businesslike to leave renewal until the last few days before expiry since anything could happen: like illness, ISP problems, bank-account or credit-card troubles (a lot of that happens over the Christmas/NY break), or even, well, Internet troubles!

BTW, I have seen relatively little pain from this outage that I can detect except possible a little extra slowness and unreliability between Beijing and London, but nothing wild...

Rgds
