Baidu.com Inc., the leading search engine in China, said Thursday its paid search ads will now appear on some sites operated by software maker Microsoft Corp.

Financial terms of the deal, which was announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, were not disclosed.

Microsoft will display Baidu.com's paid search listings on search results pages for MSN, Live and other Chinese Web sites, the Beijing-based company said.
