Google, the world’s leading Internet search engine, seeks to snap up an affiliate of Korean Internet firm Haansoft, which has expertise in free Web-based office programs....

ThinkFree Office refers to a free Web-based, server-hosted office suite that allows users to create, edit and share word processing, spreadsheet and presentation documents.

Late last year ThinkFree Corp. started offering the online programs _ ThinkFree Write, ThinkFree Calc and ThinkFree Show. They are equivalent to Word, Excel and PowerPoint of Microsoft Office.

They probably have two lines of really neat code with a patent attached.

It'll be a small investment for a huge potential reward once online office really takes off. Which it will, and probably soon.
