Mainland China, The No. of Internet User reaches 0.123 Billion

According the data from China Internet Network Information Center(CNNIC), The Number of Internet users in the Mainland China has reached to 0.123 billion dated back to June 30, 2006, an increase of 19.4% comparing to the same date of the last year; moreover, 2/3 of the total internet users accesses to the internet by broadband.
The report also shows:
1. China totally has 788,400 websites, of which, 90,000 were just born in the last 6 months.
2. Top three online services for the internet users: news:66.3%、search:66.3%、mail 64.2%.
3. China's Internet rush hour: 10 o'clock,with 31.6% users; 15o'clock, with 42.3% users; 21o'clock,with 60.9% users.
4. Each user takes around 16.5 hours on the internet weekly on average.
5. 15 million people choose internet education services; bloggers reach more than 28 million; 30 million people choose to buy online.
