Looks like you can select Japanese there too.
Hope this helps,

For me it seems like PPC campaigns have value when any of these criteria are met:
1. the product/service offered has a high margin
2. the lifetime value of a customer is high
3. the conversion rate is high
4. the client wants traffic right away
Any other angles?
Most of our clients would not pay 50 yen and we will not pay it as an on going form of advertising. I think they should have started the bidding at 12 or 15 yen and then let the market drive the price up from there. This is particularly important as PPC is new (well relatively) to the Japanese market and they need to encourage customers to use it.
Yes, I know it is hard to set up all the systems for the Japanese market, but if you price yourself out of the market your investment will be a waste.
Can you choose which keywords you're targeting? What's the base price? How's the traffic? I'm sure others would be interested in hearing about your experiences as well.
Is this program considered experimental? I ask that because I really don't see any big announcements or press releases about this, nor do I see a lot of information on their site.
