A couple questions for you..

When I do a search on Yahoo Australia (I'm in the US) it defaults to searching "the whole of Yahoo"... Does it do the same if you live down under?

Also, It seems that "the whole of Yahoo" is using some sort of altered database.. I have sites that have been in the US Yahoo for several months but still aren't included in the "the whole of Yahoo". Is there just a time delay to be included or are they just using a smaller database?

Last, have you noticed any major differences between the US and Aussie Algo's?

Seth_Wilde,

Yes Yahoo Australia defaults to searching "the whole of Yahoo" regardless of whether you live in Australia or not. It does seem a little odd but I guess it is because it covers both Australia and New Zealand rather than defaulting to one or the other.

To be honest I don't believe there is too much difference between the two algos although Yahoo Australia seems to be a little behind the US as far as updating goes. The only discrepancies that I have noticed is a difference of 1-3 places but the majority of times I find both algo's to be consistent.

Hope that helps in some way! :)
