TOCC - Japanese Inktomi partner

TOCC, or Traffic One Communications, is a business tie-up between Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and U.S. Inktomi started in October, 2000. This company mainly appears to sell Inktomi search services to portal sites. They are also selling Inktomi search solutions to data centers. As of April 2001 they had 15 staff.

The reason I mention this company is that they have a search site called [url=www.tocc.co.jp/search/]TOCC Search[/url] that has been generating some traffic for me recently. Like Google, or the late Raging search the layout is simple. I get the feeling that people who are tired of the clutter at Goo are using TOCC instead. The results look almost identical to Goo.

Unfortunately there is no Add URL...yet. This is a beta site, so it may eventually develop into something more.
