Chinese search engines and domain namres

What are the top Chinese SE and Chinese domain names

Can somebody tell me what the top search engines in China are? And also I read somewhere that you can now register domain names in the Chinese language. Is this true? And if you did you could you have for instance; www.mydomain.com with the domain name in English and www.mydomain.com with the domain name in Chinese.

Yes you can do it, although there is some controversy between the Chinese Government and the rest of the world about which system to use. You can register through a number of places such as networksolutions.com or melbourneit.com.au, who also can arrange translations for you.

And yes you can have both English and Chinese, no problem. However if you want a CHinese Country domain, then there are strict country presence rules to follow.
