That deal should give them some content for the Chinese AOL portal [webmasterworld.com] we spotted back in February. As I recall there wasn't much Chinese language content then. Any idea when this AOL venture is going to launch?

A billion free AOL coasters making their way through the chinese postal system.

That should ramp up a factory or two and create some jobs.

The site was targeting the Chinese speaking market in the USA the last time I looked. AOL pulled out of China and I don't see evidence that they're attempting to re-enter the market there. They're just securing content for their US portal.
