i have been doing some reading, few things i did not understand
what are the benefits of submitting my directory to yahoo? my web site listing allready appears on the the search engine, does it optimise my search results?
the annual fee is 300 dollars on the .com what is the fee in japan (if they have this service).
does search submit express really optimise the placement of the search results just by having the spider visit my web page every 48 hours? is this service available in japan?
also i checked all the tools available on the japanese overture and one function differs from the .com site.
i could not find the tool which checks the maximum placed bet on a specific keywords "view bids tool"
the english version does not seems to support japanese phrases. if so how do i determine how much to bid on a specific key word?
For CC, paypal does not have a japanese interface. You may want to check out worldpay- although it will cost you a little $ in start up fees. You could also think about using yahoo auctions or shops. It's are really popular here, and may help you with taking CC orders.
BTW- Nice products on your site. You may wanna also read "dont make me think" on web design usability. I havent seen frames used in a while- they arent the best thing for SEO.
Among the various excuse they gave us for denying us:
- our site links to a dating/friends members site. Since the content is for members only, they couldn't check it for "objectionable" material. Even though registration is free, getting their own registration was too difficult for them. So we created a login for them, but they still couldn't figure out how to logon.
- one of the affiliate programs we promote is related to martial arts. If you dig into their site deep enough, you can find that they sell swords used for martial arts. Never mind that the swords they're selling were made in Japan!
Sent some complaint messages to U.S. Overture, but never received a response.
Since then, we have moved most of our advertising budget from Overture to Google.
