I need to assess Chinese keyword popularity

Does someone know about a Chinese keyword suggestion tool (overture-like)? Anything to assess keyword popularity in Chinese?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld st_news.

There are a few keyword sources that we've collected here.

Baidu top 50 - [top.baidu.com...]
Baidu keyword tool - [d.baidu.com...] (doesn't seem to be working)

Overture has Hong Kong and Taiwan sites which appear to have keyword tools.

If you have a Google AdWords account there is a keyword tool there as well which should work with Chinese.

The Baidu tool doesn't seem to work.

It seems to be working but almost no results to queries...

Anybody has something better?

Does anyone know if the results provided by the Baidu keyword popularity tool (the graph bars) are a percentage or an absolute value?
In other words, does it make sense to compare the results for 2 different queries?
