A couple of weeks ago, I had a heated exchange with someone when I mentioned Infoseek was framing websites under certain conditions. At the time I didn't have a referring url to show them. Here is one [infoseek.go.com].

I started to see that in my logs over 8 months ago Pete. I suspect it has been going on longer though...

Welcome to WmW Netcommr.
I have heard of this before but never seen it with own eyes.. Brett all they want is to get the surfer back to their site. YOU lose like that :(

Brett, You made mention that they frame a site only under "certain" conditions. Do you or anyone here know these conditions?

Welcome to the system Buckshot. Nice to see you here.
I think it is the MSN version of an IE5 Search Panel?

Brett I hate to get off track here but have you seen an increase in Go/Infoseek traffic?
Had one of my own pages appear in frames as well..

drbill, I've seen a slight increase in GO lately. Also, I just noticed one of my own pages in frames.

<script> if(top.location != document.location) top.location = document.location; </script> I just thought I'd put this code in here. It is small enough that it shouldn't jack up any algos too bad. Why let Go get away with it?

I've tried that code, only works in IE?

I just did a few tests. I tried it in NS4.72, MSIE5.x, and Opera5. It worked fine in all.
