Since last week, DuckDuckGo added a new feature to their search. In your browser settings you can permanently filter out AI-generated material and overviews from being shown for image and search results. It can be permanently disabled or as a feature for individual search results.

Their instructions are at https://duckduckgo.com/settings#aifeatures

Applause to DDG! However, as webmasters, that's kind of like shutting the barn door after the cows escaped. USERS get harmed only if they buy into the AI hallucinations, but it is nice they can avoid that problem with a browser setting. Webmasters remain harmed by AI/LLM theft of content in the first place---without recompense!

This is one of the future oriented decision by DuckDuckGo. More than taking a skeleton for their content, content creators are completely dependent on AI for their work. This AIO filter is applicable for individual search and global search in browsers. From now on we can see more human written content on web.
