That's a nice big clap on their own back. I know it's a press release and all, but how do you validate a statement like that? Is there an Internet Camera Industry Authority recognition ceremony? Did the world do some kind of universal vote on most favorite webcam network?
I really wish companies would cut out the BS, and if not, just coat it in something a little easier to swallow.
I know this because a company I used to work for sponsored a well-recognised event by providing a high-tech webcam, network and IT services, EarthCam managed to get us onto Yahoo's front page for the climax of the event. As for 'most popular'; people vote on that by visiting the site, which they do in their droves.
