Alltheweb just had a major update like 2 weeks ago and my whole site made it into alltheweb. All 600 pages were there. I just checked alltheweb today and now all my pages are gone. What is going on with alltheweb. My site was not down at all. This is just plain strange. Google just updated and I made it in there (all 600 pages). Anyone know whats going on. Does alltheweb and lycos use the same database b/c if they do thats even strangers b/c my site is still in lycos?

I'm glad you brought that up. That is exactly what happened to my new site. My site was only up with alltheweb for one day, but still continues to be in Lycos. I am clueless to what happend and would also appreciate some advice.

AFAIK, Lycos is indeed using FAST technology. I guess the difference between the two happens when Alltheweb update their index and Lycos lags a few days until they update theirs.
Wait and watch.

Hello BigDreweyStyle1 Now that's interesting. Lycos does use the same Fast index that feeds ATW (Alltheweb). ATW is Fast index pure, while Lycos adds some PPC and directory listings, depending on which Lycos you use.
So if you're listings are still in the main body of results at Lycos it's hard to explain they should not be visible at ATW. Which Lycos did you use? dot-com, dot co.uk?
Did you check at ATW with url.host:www.example.com?
