I heard that out at SES last week, Position Tech was showing materials mentioning AllTheWeb paid inclusion. Any one know when that is to launch? Or has it launched?

Haven't heard anything about it, but it would be very good in my opinion, LYCOS is really bad when it comes to Customer Service. Positiontech have always done a good job on the pages i have submitted to them, already haev working tools, and XML feed, would defenetly benefit both the "Normal user" and the Advanced users.
We can pump Jim on some info on PubCon :)

It has not launched yet, but I've heard the same thing Brett. The "bag" should include some additional interesting things too.
Wouldn't sometime around september be a good time for launching it? ;)

Yes, I was told to watch out for this a few weeks ago. I would have thought end-of-month, perhaps? I certainly agree that dealing with Lycos is a little tortuous!

Everybody is complaining about how difficult it is to deal with Lycos. Our experience is the opposite. They have responded to our e-mails quickly and promtly every time we have asked for something.
So, all in all we are very pleased with Lycos :)

Doing large volumes and paying bick bucks usually incites better customer care....;)

Well, I've had good luck with PT and Fast. That's why I was asking. It sounded like a good fit for the two of them.
I gotta admint, Lycos has played themselves into a sort of 'odd man out' here the last year.

Everybody I talked to that is getting on board with the FAST program said they were talking with Stephen (another member here) and that the program had been pushed back to Sept...seems like I remember the 9th as being the launch date?
Could be mistaken, though.

aren't postech just handling Fast's xml feeds?

I think Position Tech would be handling both of them, at least, that seems like a safe bet (if they are going to pitch one, why not both? etc.)
Given that my other post has now been proven false (the program isn't out yet, right?)
What are the current opinions on this? (when it's going to launch, i mean).

I've been getting crawled a lot lately by the Fast bot. Would anyone be able to enlighten me as to what percentage of traffic you can expect from FAST/ its affiliates, so I have an idea what I could expect once it updates.

Noops Ove:
Inktomi Search/Submit- Fast inclusion into MSN and more.
A little bit confusing but it's not the company FAST, it's just the word fast, as quickly :)

Right Lazer, you still have to pay both Fast and Ink nothing new there. PT just gives you the ability to handle it all from one account/login.
On top of that they throw in the click-through stats as well.

" PT just gives you the ability to handle it all from one account/login. "going by the ( un) reliability of the Lycos Insite pages, this can only be a good thing!
