eBay API question ...

Does eBay have an option to search through its auctions with UPC? Is this available through the affiliate tier?

The api doesn't have this to the best of my knowledge. I will look, but I doubt its in there. They would have to rely on the users to enter the info, and most items wouldn't have it. Perhaps in ebay stores... but doubtful.

I do see smatterings of it in the documentation for the API. Supported in a few calls "GetProductSearchResults" wich deals with getting fields that can be searched for - presumably becuase UPC can be in there.

I will stop here, as I clearly started talking about something I don't know enough about

They do have UPC tracking somewhere, perhaps its not exposed via the API because, as you said people might not enter those for personal auctions.

I recall an email they sent out a few months ago offering UPC landing pages using the flexible landing pages.
