My domain URL's doesn't have trail slash at the end, but canonical URL's are getting trail slash without my knowledge. Even after deletion, automatedly they are generating

Example URL: https://www.example.com/url
Canonical URL: https://www.example.com/url/

How to fix this? it is irritating alot.

When you visit a page on your site does it show in the browser with the trailing slash? The links in your menus do or do not have trailing slash in the page code? What does your sitemap show for URLs?

What settings do you have for your permalinks? When you set up your permalink structure you would need to specify they end with % or a trailing slash is default.
