Can anyone help... a rather (seemingly) bizarre problem...
I have a script that brings in day/date etc and provides a search box with a drop-down list of updated items - all has worked fine - this search box has been used for several years and no problem on 3 different (wordpress) websites - and one website where it isn't on wordpress.
Recently, on one of the websites the search box isn't updating. Somewhat bizarrely, on Opera Browser stuck on Tuesday 25th October, on Chrome stuck on Friday 28th October. On Firefox and IE it has updated. I do not know if this problem is occurring on any one else's computer... on my partner's computer on Chrome and Firefox (same ip address as me) it is fine - ie today's date
I had thought at first that it is a caching problem - BUT.. across different browsers BUT IF it is my computer etc.. what could be causing it?
