How do I most easily provide an experience duplicating that of example.net, which I have no control over, to visitors of my domain example.com?
The server is using a LAMP stack. The website is a non-SSL (i.e. http://) forum site. I am trying to mirror it for my own experience. I have minimal command line skills; I can code a little bit of PHP, Perl, and HTML. I can use WHM and cPanel on the server if that helps. I can purchase software for up to $300 (perhaps higher if need be, depending upon the ease it affords.) I've done some research on the Squid reverse proxy, but I haven't determined if that provides what I'm looking for yet. I wrote a Perl script that mirrored a portion of another website for a reseller program 5 years ago, but I would like a more robust solution.
