That is pretty nifty. I've got a similar script I use here to 'whois watch'. I think I'm watching 40 at the moment :-)

there are some other good scripts (at least by their write-up) in there. but might these whois-checker scripts have a use for domain collectors too? i am paranoid about missing a payment since one of my friends lost one worth $hi-5-digits over a forgotten handle update.

Exactly. And how I just snagged another one (I'm not telling until I get the cousins bought too - someone snagged webmaster-world.com from me before I could register it...grrrr)

The easist way to do it is get a calandar program. When you find a domain you want to watch, just make a 'reminder' note on the date it is set to expire to warn you if it should be watched.
