where to get ip's fir a good price ?

also maybe I might even need a whole class c

Well, unless you are running your own network, with your own DNS servers, and routers, and such, and demonstrate a need for that many addresses you won't get them directly from ARIN.

The usual way for most people to get IP's is through a hosting account with an ISP. If you are looking for a whole class "C" that might be a little tough. Even paying for a server or two may not get you that many.

I'am recently getting my own server that will hold about 750 ip's. the problem is I want to make sure that I get a good price for the ip's or a class c. The server that I'am getting is from my previous host but he still has not given me a price on the ip's yet. Iwas wonder if you can please give me an estimate on how much that will cost so or how it works do they charge monthy or do you pay a one time fee?

Well, let's get some definitions out of the way so that we know we are both talking about the same thing. When you say your server will hold 750 IP's, Do you maybe mean domains? IP's really aren't related to a server in that way, so I am not sure what you mean.

In any case your best bet is to ask your ISP what they will charge, there is no set price, unless you have your own network, or you are an ISP in which case ARIN spells out the pricing very clearly.

Arin is getting real sticky about ip's. I'm trying to buy just 256 right now, and the broker can't get Arin to fess them up. I have existing domains to show and they don't consider that even enough. So, I'm trying to go through another host that already has a C block purchased and get them through him. I think that is the only way you can get them now. Just keep hunting until someone says Yes at a reasonable price.

Ros, when I had my dedicated server I got them for $2 each in batches of ten from my ISP.
