Does anyone have an idea where business people (small and medium) look to find services? Do a large majority search the net or rely on ads in trade magazines? I am interested in targetting small and medium sized businesses and wonder where I should focus my advertising dollar.

BTW, I am UK based so any UK specific names would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think yellow pages is #1 to search for B2B services.

For an inexpensive form of advertising, I recommend networking at your local Chamber of Commerce.

There are a few specialised B2SME directories out there. One UK directory is at www.askalix.com - but after first hand experience in dealing with them, I have chosen to pull our listing.

They all seem to phone up here! I don't know what we're doing right/wrong.

I'd try the yellow pages though.
