Can anyone compare or contrast Cpanel/WHM vs Ensim vs Helm?

We are going to be reselling hosting to our clients from a local company. The choices for reselling have plans that include either Cpanel with WHM or Ensim. There is another more expensive option (approximately 30% more) that uses Helm instead. All of these options allow us to resell hosting as if we were the main hosting provider.

My basic understanding from searching the web is that Cpanel is easier for end users, but Ensim and Helm are better suited to the reseller running the domains. Helm specifically has additional functionality suited to resellers for invoicing.

Could anyone comment specifically on how their end users like Cpanel or Ensim for day to day management of their domains?

Are there any big differneces from a resellers point of view in managing the domains with either of these products?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I've never used Helm, but I use Cpanel/WHM on a daily basis, and have used Ensim quite a bit in the past. As I see it/my experiences:

Cpanel/WHM -
faster, easier to use
good integration with 3rd party apps
very customisable and configurable

Ensim-
I've never seen an implementation of Ensim run faster than a turtle
Very limited number of features, especially with DNS
Has better logging than Cpanel, but not by much
difficult to integrate with 3rd party applications

I very, very, very much prefer Cpanel as a hosting customer and WHM as an admin. Others may disagree, but I won't ever use Ensim again - it's just too limiting, even if the raw logs are better.

Thanks for the information Ankheg and NeedScripts, you basically confirmed what I was thinking. After searching more of the web I answered some of my own questions. My biggest concern (and misunderstanding) was the way Cpanel looked. I didn't realise that with different skins came completely different layouts of information.

The "Blue Lagoon" skin, with its dozens of links, is way to complex for the clients that will be using this. But it looks like there are a number of alternative skins that simplify the interface down to a few icons making it much simpler for them.

Thanks again for your replies.
