Bank accounts around the world

Hello, I am wondering if anybody have had any experience with opening bank accounts in different countries around the world? I was viewing the [webmasterworld.com...] posts and it made me wonder if anybody could recommend different banks around the world where you could open accounts without being written or living in the country. (please no small tiny banks or pure online banks, unless you have experience with them yourself)

Easiest way to do this is to chat to your bank in your own country.

Major players will have at least an office in major countries and could probably do this for you. They will likely have 'sister'/'partner' banks also...
