I'm adding a SEO feature to my Web Services, and rather than go down the PPC route I would like to consider Submission Programs such as WebPostion Gold.

Has anyone used this product? Can it guarantee you a listing on the first 2 pages og the major engines?

I have done some research, and it looks like the best on the market for the $149 price tag.

It allows you to manage 5 URLs. I could charge each client $99 each to almost guarantee a top 2 page listing. Or is that too cheap?

Many thanks

Munders.

Absolutely not.

Maybe it wouldn't be, if you could actually make that guarantee -- although "top 2 pages" isn't all that worthwhile anyway.

Look, if it were as easy as spending $149 for a piece of software, everybody'd be doing it. Instead you'll find that most who take search engine optimization seriously steer far away from any of those programs that promise to make it quick and easy. Personally, I do think that you can learn something from them; some of the pointers you'll get are worthwhile -- but only on a most basic, beginner's level. If you're going to be charging clients for your SEO work, you'll be doing them a disservice if you take that approach, in my opinion.

Before you spend any money try doing a site search here and check out the product

>guarantee a top 2 page listing

Now that would be nice, if only it was that easy
