How much does an advertising publication cost?

I am the owner of a website with daily traffic of about 5 thousand people. I often receive letters asking me to publish promotional text.
But I have absolutely no idea how much it costs to publish such a text.

Please provide approximate prices

It costs whatever you decide to charge for the service. No one can tell you what to charge except the people who are paying you. If you ask for $50 and they lose interest, try a lower number. If you feel like your time to add their text is worth $100, charge $100. You are the one who spent the time and effort to build up your traffic so your rates depend on how much your time is worth. Keeping in mind that if you previously hosted only your content and then add in advertising, it might affect the popularity - or not. Only you would know that.

Now, wait. You’re asking about a whole lot of different things there: guest posts, banners, display ads of various kinds. These are not questions that can be answered in a single paragraph--especially not here on the free side of the site.

AND! ... we can't advise what you charge for on site advertising (which is what this is). I ran sites for decades using that model and made quite a bit of money, enough to retire, etc. Never used adsense and made a "mint". ON the other hand all I will reveal is that hard work, dedication, hiring staff to make the cold calls to get that advertising is how it is done and comes with the baggage of paying salaries, taxes, expenses and keeping the site in number one, and CONSTANTLY seeking advertisers that actually FIT YOUR WEBSITE.

You charge what the traffic will bear. They will pay if your site is that stellar. Long and short.

Probably letters with an offer to place an advertisement are ordinary spam (None of the 3 recipients responded to my offer.
