Hello All
I am a newbie in this community, apologies if I am asking the question at the wrong place.
I am a Startup Owner facing a crisis due to Corona Virus and my business is getting down. I am really worried about my sales going down.
Can anyone tell me some effective ways to make my business normal and save it from crisis?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld jayarora!

Current times are challenging, but can also be an opportunity if you are creative. The new normal looks to be that people will spend more time at home with their close relatives and less in large venues or on holiday. By focussing on the needs of what people need at home you may mitigate much of your current problems. People have more time at hand so focus on hobbies. They will spend less time out shopping en will rely more on home delivery of all sorts of goods.

If your focus is on companies, try to step in their shoes and what they would need to survive. Facilities to let their employees work at home is an example. The number of online meetings will increase and so will the need for proper equipment for it.

If your business is directly and heavily impacted by the covid-19 pandemic , I don't think there is anything you can really do, just wait for the storm to pass.

Meanwhile, and to get ready for "later", you can always:

- develop new products / services,
- improve your existing products / services,
- improve your site, depending of your niche, this can be adding extra information, or writing articles, tutorials, related to your niche/products/services,

Just occupy your time, by improving, refining, thinking, to have an again strong line of products/offers, when people will again start looking for things you provide.

@jayarora ... Glad to have you at Webmasterworld!

A pandemic is going to impact all economies, even the web. You are no the only one seeing drastic changes in traffic and conversions.

There is no cure, either for Coronavirus or the economic "recession" that is on going. You will have to wait things out.

There's no amount of code, or money, you can throw at this to make your site successful if the users are holed up, cautious, or out of money because they are out of work. Just some harsh realities in play.

Difficult to discuss without details, the specifics mean a lot in this context
Can anyone tell me some effective ways to make my business normal and save it from crisis?

- Hibernation
- Suspension
- Adaptation or pivotal changes
- Government help programs

Hibernation means you might experience less difficult times if you contract and stop expanding, reduce movement, etc, quite literal, yes many have done this under different situations. Suspension... depends on your country laws and regulations, in some cases you can "pause" your business, meaning you will stop having some financial and tax obligations, in this regard #1 and #2 are like energy saving options.

Adaptation means you might change your business strategy, improve, focus on delivery or pivotal changes that will keep you afloat while you are doing something slightly different, many people in this area moved to food and delivery, yes there is money there.

Last one... again depends on your country. Same as incentives, some governments have help programs to help you pass the crisis.
