Here's a cheeky idea for mailing list builders using open source scripts... probably not for everyone, but if you're monetizing your email list (and you should), then it might give you a couple of ideas to get more prospects onto your mailing list.
But what if we take it a step further and only give them the results after they’ve opted into our mailing list. How quickly would your list grow now?
BANG goes that back button. :-) Too often I've thought, okay, let's give it a try, to find out the "resource" falls short of my needs or is available elsewhere.
Or, enter a phony email, which contaminates your list.
Or, the emails I receive are not "quality prospects" but people just looking for free stuff and not interested in my topic. I'll take one quality contact over 1000 dead ones that would further contaminate my list.
Just sayin' . . . this is a transparent and well known tactic.
