The principles of trademark registration mostly follow the logic applied in the Madrid Protocol [wipo.int...] which takes care of a lot of multi national coverage.

Call your local Trademarks office for more details and they will put you on the right path , or a local trademarks attorney if you want to spend money. An attorney is not always necessary , except in difficult cases.
