i sold a website

but the buyer doesnt seem bothered about me transferring it to him

i sold a website in february to a guy, he paid up front. since then ive asked him 3 times if he wants me to transfer it over to him. he keeps saying yeah but doesnt get back in touch.

the domain is up for renewal in a month, I dont know what to do. do I renew it? let it drop? I dont want the guy coming back to me saying I didnt transfer it and I owe him the money back!

Send him a certified letter notifying him that you are trying to complete the transaction, but he needs to do his part. If he does not complete the process, the domain will expire, and there will be nothing that you can do.

Also, check with your registrar and see if there is anyway to "push" the transfer from your side. I assume you already have all the information needed (contact name, address, telephone).

Find out who his registrar is, check out their transfer process, send him the link. "This is what you need to do" (get this thing outta my driveway already . . . )

I was under the impression if you change ownership G will reset links / rankings maybe this is why
