How do you share files with clients?

... and do you wish it were easier?

I was wondering what everyone here uses to share files (designs, mockups, any other files) with customers/clients and how it works for you? Are you and your clients able to discuss them in meaningful ways via this method? Is there anything you wish you could do instead?

Just trying to collect some data from some professionals.

Thanks,
Ian

I always found Basecamp from 37 signals to be very useful for this, it's an online project management software, which gives you the ability to allow clients access to their profile, or just specific files. There's a number of tools in there that just seem to make life easier.

Google docs for Text docs and spreadsheets then I use big JPGs on my development site to allow the client to view mockups and discuss. Light, quick, little investment in time and money.
