worldwide local phone number providers

Had some trouble googling this since I dont even know what the service is called, but what I want is:
One company who will set up local phone numbers for various nations worldwide, so that customers can ring a number based in their home nation and get forwarded to our head office.

Have you any suggestions of companies that provide this?

Yep - I would think this should be fairly easy to setup in skype. You can purchase skype in credits relatively inexpensively, then have it ring to a cell phone or something.
