How to deal with this company?

Hi,
Over 5 months ago, my company contracted another company to develop a web flash application. (i'm in France they are in the UK).

I can't believe I have waited over 5 months and the work is still not completed. Now I don't know what to do.

Here is the problem:

- They are doing a great job, and what I asked is 70% completed, the guy working on my project is really talented.

- It takes forever for them to complete the work. Almost 6 months now. I send emails, they always have a reason why they couldn't work on my project, they promise they will, and they simply don't. I send other emails, they say they will work, and this goes on over and over again. i'm beginning to think they don't want to complete my project.

I'm getting totally MAD at this behavior, not counting the prejudice of delaying the launch of my new site based on this flash application.

So what's the best behavior to adopt?

They must have kept the project with some kind of less priority to be done when there is no much of more fiancially important things to do.

What does your contract say about any delays?

Either handle the issue legally or set a deadline and move on.
