which copyright disclaimer to use?

I m about to start a site that will contain some popular images. I know to type of disclaimer about copyright, these are :-

1- Images are property of their respective owner. If you are the owner of any image and do not want it to appear on this site then please contact us and it will be removed.

OR

2- All images are easily on internet and considered to be in public domain. We believe that its in our right according to us fair copyright use act (title 17). However you can contact us if you are the owner of any image and it will be removed.

Do you have permission to use the pictures from their respective owners?

The copyright would really depend on the above, and any terms the owners may stipulate.

if you are not the owner or do not own the rights then you should not use them.
