While searching for a good email program, I noticed that most charge BY THE EMAIL. Yuck. I am so tempted to send my campaigns on my own, through my own server, but I fear disaster. I fear that all my emails will go to my loyal subscribers junk box, they will mark it as junk, and I will never be able to send them mail again.

I want to use a good email program, that avoids spam filters, AND that doesnt cost an arm and a leg.

I used the example of 100k subscribers, not because I have that many, but because one day soon I might, and when that day comes I dont want to be spending $250-500 bucks a month just to send an email out.

Suggestions please my fellow webmasters?

I've been using Ezinedirector for a few years now, they're CAN-SPAM compliant and the control panel is pretty easy to use. If you're sending between 100k-500k emails a month, the cost is $0.0008 per email, or about $80 for every 100,000 emails you send. I don't have any experience with other email/newsletter companies, but I've been happy with this one so far.

If you have a targeted and qualified email list that people have opted in to receive emails and you don't want to spend $250-$500/mo to market to them... send me their info because I'll happily do so.

If you can't make good money off 100K subscribers even while spending $500/mo then you have bigger worries than how much it costs to email these people - like, for instance, your skills as a marketer.
