I have a few questions regarding starting an online business.
1. What licenses do I need for an online website that offers a service not a tangible item?
2. Does anyone know what California regulations are to run and adult service out of my home?
3. Where would I find 1099 forms when I begin hiring independent contractors?
4. Does anyone know where I would go to get a liscense or forms?
I am very new at this. I have a few sites up already though but now its time to hire and get all forms into place and just not sure where to begin. So any advice will be appreciated. Thanksk for everyones time. MzJazz

1) Every location is different. You should check with your accountant and/or lawyer for the specifics about your location/industry. Things may also depend on what type of business entity you are.
2) "adult" as in porn?
3) www.irs.gov is your friend for all things/forms tax-related.
4) Combine this with #1.

MzJazz, I'm not in the US so I don't know for sure, but maybe your local Chamber of Commerce or Better Business Bureau would be a good place to go with this kind of question?

Hope that helps, a.
