How to find "widget shops" addresses/contact data and import into a db?

I'm looking for (easy) ways to collect mailing addresses (important), telephone numbers (less important), contact names (least important) and web site URLs for a certain type of business (lets say widget shops for a change) located in the US and the UK. Ideally the data will be in a csv or other file that I can import into a database.

I believe I might be able to purchase this type of data from Yellow Pages. Does anyone know of any other ways? Any advantages/disadvantages?

(I've just reread the post and if it makes me look like a spammer, I'm not, the project I'm working on is to set up a community online for widget shops - honest!)

There are lot of sites from where you shall purchase readymade mailing list. But these kind of data is generally old and the reliability of data is also in question. At the same time copying data from websites manually will be a pain. But there are some solution that you can make use of.

One of that site is www.data2market.com . This site extract / data mine any website that you ask. If you are not sure of the website name they shall find themself and extract for you. Have a try and share your experience with me.
