Reccomended books for IC - (web/graphic design)

Ive searched NOLO and Barnes & Noble, and Amazon and seen a bunch of books on IC...

but does anyone know of a good one that would relate to and IC in the design (web and graphics) business..?

I'm sorry Tony, to me 'IC design' means 'Integrated Circuit design', i.e. chip design.

I'm guessing that's not what you mean. Maybe you could explain.

If you're asking for good Web Design books for beginners, then I think the O'Reilly HTML book by Musciano et al provides a good starting point.

Sorry, Independent Contractors specializing in Web/Graphic designs...

something that has sample contracts, how to handle taxes, rates (or rate ranges) how to handle clients...laws...etc.

Web & Software Development: A Legal Guide (4th Edition)
by Attorney Stephen Fishman

I have used this guide myself. While it includes contracts and info for software development it has a contracts for web developers, pretty good one actually that I have used. It also includes contracts if you hire a sub-contractor and NDAs.
