AdSense vs custom Pay Per Click management

In house PPC management for ads similar to AdSense

First of all I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question so I do apologize to all.

Anyway, as I posted in this topic [webmasterworld.com...] we do have just about 3% revenue from AdSense ads on our website because for many reasons the AdSense ads are only displayed on a very small percentage of our pages.

Most of our revenue is generated from direct advertising where our clients are paying monthly fees to be listed on our websites.

Lately we do get more and more requests for PPC listings which would definitely be more profitable than our monthly listing fees. I would love to have all of our clients using AdSense which would be the easiest way however even AdSense has limitations and we are not able to set CPC or CPM. Also custom system would allow us to turn any link on our website into a PPC paid link.

My question is: Is there any reputable service that can manage this PPC service for us? OR should we build our own system? Or are there any already available systems (ideally ColdFusion based) that we could buy and install them on our servers? I guess our last option would be to force all of our customers to sign with AdSense.

Your feedback is appreciated!

Thanks

Even with them signing up with adsense does not guarantee them or you that they will have ads running on your site.

A bit more investigating should go into this before you abandon a model that is working for you.

I don't know of any way to do what you are asking but others may.

Try posting to one of the tech forums on this board and you will get better answers.

Thats why I would prefer custom tools or service to manage it.

I'm not planning to abandon our model, I just want to have more options for our advertisers.

Thanks for input
