my emails are emails not delivered to hotmail

I've got a domain that I only use for business email. I've got 4 different addresses on this domain. I've had it for about 2 years and I've never used it for any sort of spam or mass emailing.

Recently I've discovered that mail I send from this domain does not get delivered to hotmail and who knows what other domains. I've suspected this for a long time but never got around to testing it.

The weird thing is, if I send an email FROM my hotmail acount TO an address on this domain, and then I REPLY to it (to the hotmail) it gets delivered.

I'm not on any blacklist as far as I can tell. I've tested the domain and IP on dnsstuff.

I've also set my hotmail filters to the lowest setting to see if that would help--it didn't.

I read somewhere that maybe there was an issues with the headers but I don't know anything about that.

I'm using mozilla thundebird as my email program and I think this may be part of the issue since if I send email from the webmail (hoarde) on the cpanel then the mail gets delivered to hotmail (albeit in the spam folder.)

I've had mail problems with hotmail. They seem pretty particular to SPF records. Did you enable this?
